Private support, working hard for UM.
Investing department by department: More than $8.5 million has been given to support faculty positions, while another $28.5 million is at work in academic and campus programs that help make UM a great place to study and work.
"The strength of this University is in its academic programs. Because of investment in people as indicated by your support for faculty positions and professional development, my colleagues and I are capable of presenting extremely high quality courses to our students and being productive scholars to a broader world."
